This one is one of the oldest carols that is still well known today - no one really knows where or when this mysterious melody comes from, although it’s rumored to have emanated from France in the 13th or 14th Century. The First Noel is one of my favorite Christmas carols. It's such a heartwarming song with an absolutely beautiful melody. I have several versions of this wonderful carol and I can honestly say that this one is positively, hands down, my new favorite. Thank you so much for this cover and all your other covers. You are truly an amazing pianist!!
