HERO3 w Old LCD Screen: GoPro Tips and Tricks

In this video I show the old LCD screen works with the new HERO3. The menu on the LCD has changed and looks like it is set up for the touch bacpac. Over all I think the new menu is better than the old.

Just a note the HERO3 White Edition is like the HERO1. If you want a camera that shoots like that HERO2 you get the HERO3 Sliver Edition. I think it is worth getting a HERO3 the size it a big change and @Jox72GoPro comment about it working with the upcoming accessors is a good point.

Seems to work fine on my Hero 3+ but you can’t delete videos from the LCD screen. The option is there but you can’t scroll to it with the buttons. Only works with the touch lcd.

Kyle, what is the battery life on the Hero 3 silver. I heard its about 50mins

I would not buy Hero2 what so ever. The Hero3 white edition is basically the same as Hero2 but comes with a few awesome features like the flat lens, wifi and smaller. It will also be compatible with all upcoming mounts etc. The price is pretty much the same but if you have enough money to buy silver or even black edition I would do that! :)
