Win win with Paige, good on the golf and good on the eye. Her honesty and genuine want to help improve your golf, and make it fun, is clear with this young lady. Excellent tonic.

You nailed it! It's all about EGO... I don't take practice swings and generally try to hit my fairway woods longer than I am capable. However, I am going to change my mental approach to the fairway woods, take smooth practice swings and stay with a comfortable tempo... Thanks for the tip...

GREAT golf lesson on fairway woods. Thank you SO much . Long and lifted finish, hit 85%, let club do the work, brush practice swings. Best lesson on fairway wood I've EVER gotten . You are the BEST!

Great advice Paige . You make it look so easy and you point out why and how it could go wrong, which is great . You might just be the best golf instructor/advisor on YouTube, your certainly right up there

2 iron is a swatter club to sweep low out of scrub or brush wood etc, rare these days, also good to hit low and flat under high wind, ie roll along the deck or on rain affected conditions etc. I dont have one at present. I guess just try all the woods often to see how we can best use the clubs weight and club face angle. A great lesson Page, thank you, 4 wood is a classic

I spent the entire summer on the range with my fairway woods to find out exactly how far I hit them. I use to try to knock the cover off the ball with my woods until I watched this Brilliant video. Your advice has totally changed my long game. Please stay safe by wearing that dang mask because I really need your golf advice every Thursday! Have a Great Weekend and Thank You✌

I must thank you because you got me back into golf I stoped playing almost 10 years ago and started again this spring during the pandemic! I agree I’ve never been able to hit a 2-iron and wondered why I carried it! I’m now getting fitted for new clubs and will definitely get a hybrid! Keep the instructional videos going I always learn so much! Thanks for all you do 😀

"Practice swings." Great advice. Getting the feel of the swing for fairway woods is key. I don't do that enough. Thanks, Paige.

Would love to be able to get off the first tee with confidence while everyone watching. The key is confidence.

Love that tip with hitting the wood hard. Just swinging 90 percent or to the spot you are trying to hit is great. Thanks

Thanks for the video! I do need to practice more on my swing. I like my 4 Hybrid. Practice swings and driving range will help me.

Paige, you're a sweetheart ❤ I'm a new subscriber! I've watch a few of your videos already and have learned a lot and tried them out on our course! I played a few years when my husband and i got married 37 years ago, then took off quite a few years and have constantly played the last 4 years(except winter months) ugh! You explain things so well ! Thank you for sharing your gift of golf and other information not always pertaining to golf. I never thought i would love golf so much! My husband started as a teenager and myself not until 50 years old taking it seriously. Its hard not to compare myself to our friends who have golfed for 30 years! I was in a 2 couples best shot this summer and could not hit the ball! I let my emotions take over! It was so depressing! We golf in a lot of tournaments but this was not fun for me! Golf is a "love hate" relationship! Lol you're beautiful inside and out! 😊God bless you 🙏 ❤ ❤❤❤

Great advice, especially regarding relaxing and trusting the club to go the correct distance. The second shot on a par 5 seems to get me to subconsciously over-swing in hopes of a shorter approach shot. This is frequently a mistake. I try to have a little lag at the top of my swings too. It not only reinforces the idea of starting the downswing with my hips for more power, but also results in the face squared up with the intended path. Leaving this out often results in varying versions of the dreaded slice. I too found this particular video very helpful. I have the impression you constructed this content more carefully than usual as the topics you covered fit together very well. Thanks.

Hey Paige, this is probably my favorite video of yours, I do tend to struggle catching fairway’s flush consistently, half the time I catch it perfectly and sometimes top it, but thanks for that 👍

I have played around 20 years (not continuously, lol - I've quit a few times) but the day I added a 4-hybrid changed my game forever for the better. All of a sudden I had a club I could launch high into the air with authority that goes 185yds, give or take. That's a very important distance marker for a lot of amateurs, imo, because most of us top out our drivers around 240-260yds. That can often lead to an approach shot in that 180yd or so range if you play from single-digit tees (or don't hit a perfect drive, which never happens, of course). I actually still use the same exact 4-hybrid, a Callaway X-Hot, with an upgraded shaft, because I've never found another hybrid that has matched the feel and flight of this one. I holed out from 185yds with this club (eagle on par 4), on a beautiful fade shot, no less, so I am the ultimate salesman - a true believer. You can work these clubs both ways and with better flight characteristics than your regular long irons, imo. Try one in your bag and go from there.

even when she screws up she hits it well, but great advice about fairway woods and hybrids, I've had a 3 hybrid for a while, but lately it has been going more offline than my 3 wood, so I elected to buy a 5 wood to sort of cover the gap between my 3 wood and 4 iron, so far it's been a great addition to my bag
