Bought this same model in the Panerai store in Paris about 10 years ago. Still love and wear it often. Yeah, no sandwich dial and and has common ETA. Did eventually get a replacement strap directly from Panerai. My strap is burgundy crocodile. Unique look

I used to love panerai, had two and both springs broke

I didn't loose money on the one I bought 15 years ago but lost a lot one the second newer one

That is my dream watch. If your buddy ever wants to sell it and move on I will make him an offer. I don't need it to be in "new" condition because it will take the place of my Tag daily EDC watch so it is gonna get beat up.
