Expansion capability is here for the TRS-80 Model 12! The Tandy Emeritus 7-slot expansion backplane has landed, and combined with my 3D-printed card cage, a full expansion solution is available for your 12. I discuss what's new and improved, build the backplane, install it into my Model 12, and test the result.

THAT thing is GIGANTIC! My mother would probably have called that a mainframe, in the old days. She was always more impressed with the Commodore PET 2001 because it looked much more like a computer than the Apple II - smirk.

Instead of the jumpers, use FETs to autojump by detecting when a card is plugged in.
