Σύμφωνα με δημοσίευμα της Ισραηλινής ειδησεογραφικής ιστοσελίδας The Times of Israel, ο IDF ανακοίνωσε σήμερα Σάββατο, ότι η πολεμική αεροπορία του Ισραήλ, θα προβεί σε αξιολόγηση των προηγμένων μαχητικών αεροσκαφών F-35, που έχει εντάξει στις δυνάμεις της, ώστε να δει τι θα πράξει, καθώς οι Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες της Αμερικής, μετά από πρόβλημα που διαπιστώθηκε στο σύστημα εκτίναξης του καθίσματος του πιλότου, καθήλωσαν στο έδαφος το μεγαλύτερο ποσοστό του στόλου των F-35, ωσότου γίνει ο κατάλληλος έλεγχος και οι τροποποιήσεις που χρειάζονται, και να επιλυθεί το ζήτημα που ανέκυψε, με πρωταρχικό γνώμονα, την ασφάλεια του πιλότου του αεροσκάφους.
Η ανακοίνωση της Πολεμικής Αεροπορίας των ΗΠΑ, πραγματοποιήθηκε χθες Παρασκευή, λέγοντας ότι καθηλώνει προσωρινά τον στόλο των μαχητικών F-35, ώστε να επισπευστεί η επιθεώρηση τους, αυτών των υπερσύγχρονων μαχητικών αεροσκαφών, που όπως ήδη γνωρίζουμε, θέλει διακαώς να αποκτήσει και η Ελλάδα και να τα εντάξει στο οπλοστάσιο της.
Το Ισραήλ πάντως όπως αναφέρει το δημοσίευμα, αξιολογεί αυτό το εύρημα ασφαλείας, ως χαμηλού κινδύνου και αναμένουμε να δούμε τι θα πράξει τελικά με τα 33 αεροσκάφη που του έχουν παραδοθεί, από τα 50 που έχει παραγγείλει.

According to a report by the Israeli news website The Times of Israel, IDF announced today, Saturday, that the Israeli Air Force will conduct an evaluation of the advanced F-35 fighter jets which has in its forces, in order to see what it will do, as the United States, following a problem identified with the pilot's seat ejection system, has grounded most of its F-35 fleet until the necessary inspection and modifications are done and to resolve the issue that arose, with the safety of the pilot of the aircraft as a primary consideration.
The announcement of the US Air Force was made yesterday Friday, saying that it is temporarily grounding the fleet of F-35 fighter jets, in order to speed up their inspection, of these ultra-modern fighter aircraft, which, as we already know, ardently wants to acquire both Greece and to include them in its arsenal.
Israel, however, as the publication states, evaluates this safety finding as low risk and we are waiting to see what it will do with the 33 aircraft that have been delivered to it, out of the 50 that it has ordered.

***update: Η Ισραηλινή Πολεμική Αεροπορία ανακοίνωσε πριν από λίγο, ότι καθηλώνει τα μαχητικά αεροσκάφη F-35, για να ελεγχθούν.

Μόνο τα F-35A έχουν πρόβλημα και είναι συγκεκριμένα με το σύστημα εκτόξευσης καθίσματος (Cartridge Actuator Devices - CADs) τα οποία βρίσκονται κάτω από το κάθισμα και χρησιμοποιούνται για την εκτόξευση του καθίσματος (Ejection). Τα F-35Bs και C λειτουργούν κανονικά. Για όσους λένε μόνο Rafale - Μην ξεχνάμε τα Rafale είναι πιο παλιά μαχητικά και είχαν τα δικά τους προβλήματα στον καιρό τους. Έχουν ξεπεράσει αυτό το στάδιο προσαρμογής και ανάπτυξης που περνούν τα F-35 τώρα.
