I love how realistically parents are portrayed in this show. We perceive our parents as being invincible, and don't see that they're merely human beings until we're much older. Bandit admitting his flaws is refreshing to see in a kids' show. We should all have parents like Chili and Bandit.

I love how they show Bandit playing with his girls, and enjoys play acting with them. "Ladies and gentlemen, I am doing this for my kids" is the best line ever!

Bandit is an archaeologist, has a cute wife, two adorable girls, is funny, played by an Aussie punk rock star, and he has an Aussie accent. We can all stop looking: we found the world’s coolest dad!

I love how Bandit stays in character when playing with his daughters, no matter what awkward situations it puts them in. And how even when he messes up, he owns up to it, learns from it, and let's his daughter's know it. It's no wonder he earned the Dad of the Year award in 2019.

I think for a lot of adult Bluey lovers, Bandit is absolutely perfect for healing the inner child in us who either don't have fathers or good fathers, myself being the second one

His moment in See Saw is definitely my favorite. I also think that Pat, the neighbor, deserves recognition as well. He's a good sport.

Bandit is probably one of, if not, the greatest cartoon Dad’s. He always goes above and beyond for his girls. What an amazing dad Bluey and Bingo have.

Bin Night is another excellent example of Bandit and Chilli communicating well with their children and parenting as a team. When Bingo is talking about what happened during the school day, Bandit doesn’t rush to give Bingo advice. Instead, he just listens and lets Bingo be heard while validating her feelings. Then, it’s clear that he’s discussing what he heard with Chilli after the girls have been put to bed, because in the following scenes the morning after, Chilli steps in to offer Bingo advice on what to do in the situation. Another takeaway is appreciating the little moments with your loved ones. At the end of the episode when Bluey is thinking about being a scientist when she grows up she says “Maybe I can invent a robot that takes out the bins for you.”, to which Bandit responds “Oh, I hope not!” This shows that he cherishes the time that he’s able to spend with his daughters and be a parent to them, even during a mundane activity like taking out the garbage bins.

Bandit really is a great dad. I love how he commits to his role on every game completely, even if it embarrasses him immensly. Wendy is one character that can testify that, as she is normally the one that ends up finding Bandit in awkward situations because of his kids' antics, resulting in the famous catchphrase "Morning, Wendy".

His dedication to playing with his children no matter how annoying they are and how silly it makes him look, makes him a great father in animation.

I love how Bandit will pretend the girls are inanimate objects. “Oh here’s my newspaper!” *picks up Bluey

My dad also fully committed to the bit when playing games with me when I was little. He was a theater kid, so that's probably why, but there's also a video of him giving me my first music lesson when I was less than a year old. Man, I love my dad

Bandit is such an inspiration. He has love, care, understanding, responsible, patience, and high pain tolerate, if you know what I mean.

I love how he commits to the games his kids play. Like when Bluey and Bingo had those asparagus and feather wands.
I also love how he teaches them life lessons in his own way, Chilli does a great job at doing that too.

Amazing how Bluey would have turned out if Bandit stayed like he was in the unofficial pilot. Or Chilli for that matter. Just comes to show that the route they took to make the parents in Bluey not only realistic, but also relatable is uncanny valley to me. This really is an amazing show and every adult wanting to be parents should watch Bluey as a guideline for parenting.
