Great vid: good options with pros and cons of each. I'd definitely buy a camera based on your recommendations. :-)

Thank you for your quick response to my request for this information. I feel that you're covered these cameras very well in a way that I can understand. I am a bit confused about what you mean about noise but I will research that. I was leaning towards buying an iPhone 7 Plus, as a camera, not a phone, because I wanted to have the ability to put photos onto social media quickly while traveling. (not wanting to wait to get home to put it on my computer and then onto Instagram or Facebook.)

Good overview. BTW, it is amazing how many camera experts use a Lumix GM5 as their pocket/take-with camera. 🤔

Marlene, this video would have been even better if you displayed the photos from each of these cameras. A photo is worth a thousand words.

Panasonic Lumix- 10, 000 complicated menu settings designed to make you hate cameras, frustrate you, and ruin your pictures. Can't wait to get rid of mine and update to one of those free cameras you get with each kids burger meal, will be so much more user friendly and probably do a better job. ps; you do make great vids and l have discovered what a lot of the functions are threw them, even tho l cant apply any of it. Well done.

Man, im just getting into this whole photo thing, and i dont even know where to start. Cameras are way more complicated than i thought. As a beginner i obviously dont know exactly what i will be doing with the camera, so my tendency is to search for a "do it all" package that also isnt too big. The smaller it is, the more likely i will take it places with me. The flip screen is a must for me, low light ability as well (i love night fotos). Dont necessarily care about "long distance" pictures, but a good zoom is always welcome. Dont care about 4K either...do care about mic-input, good AF and stabilisation though, cuz i might be shooting a lot of videos. And all that need to be under 500 bucks :-( any thoughts are MUCH appreciated. (Not a fan boy here, dont care about the brand)

Thanks for your reviews. I recently bought the GX8 and was wondering if you think Panasonic will do any more firmware updates for this camera since it has been replaced with a newer model. I would really like to see Focus Stacking added to this camera, but that may be unrealistic. Does Panasonic support their older cameras or merely tweak the newer models?

Hi Marlene...I love your video’s...humorous and to the point. I have several Olympus DSLR’s and also the Panasonic G85. Great camera and very versatile. But I got the idea of buying an extra bridgecamera...the Panasonic FZ300, because of it’s zoomrange. But now I hesitate, because maybe it’s better to buy an extra zoomlens for my G85 like the Panasonic 100-300. I can get the gz300 for €319, - euro’s. Panasonic 100-300 is more expensive...but better quality I think. What is your opinion on this matter...Thank you in advance!

I got a Canon Ixus 155 from my aunt since it's not used much anymore. What do you guys think of it? I got it for free and I'm interested in videography. I'm only planning on using it for high school film making projects. Is it good for taking videos?

Sorry for my bad english
