From one of my all time favourite albums, Conner possesses a unique voice along with being a great songwriter.
I was fortunate to meet him recently at a Mamas Gun gig in London and was delighted to find him so approachable and happy to talk. A truly lovely fellow.

As debuts go, this is one of the best!

I just happened to find Earthbound by conner, on a compilation album when i was 19 in the late 90s (1998?) , i was in love deeply with my first proper girlfriend, and being a an amateur singer myself i loved the song so much i listened to it and tried my best to sing it
Then when the mainstream internet came along and Youtube was around i thought, hey im gonna look up that guy with the amazing voice that i remember, i found his channel and his voice was still pure silk just as it is to this day. Ive actually sent conner a few messages on his videos and he has replied, which made my whole month!
This bloke is so talented and ill always be a massive fan of his. If i ever find out hes doing a gig somewhere the first thing i will do is buy a ticket, get the time off work, and book a hotel near to where the gig is.... hes that bloody brilliant. Bloody love him. My fave two most talented british soul singers are Conner, and Terrence trent Darby

I was in my teens when my mum took a train with me from the middle of Devon to Shepherd's Bush to see you perform. I still remember it clearly, including the gospel number you did. You were my introduction to soul music - a part-gypsy boy in the country soon had a stack of Marvin Gaye and Donny Hathaway CDs. Would love to hear you sing more gospel - maybe a couple covers of Donny or Marvin 🙂

Na Conner Reeves HAS BEEN COLD! Just wish TOTP didn't cut artists off and he could have hit the runs at the end of the joint..love this song...such a classic!! Goosebumps.

So was this live then?! I thought they always made people mime! It's amazing if this is live how you sing absolutely on cue and in tune. Incredible. I like the fact the drummer can sing tho! You don't see that very often. Wow, if this is live you have amazing vocal control. I hear you also write songs for other artists. What would you say your main instrument is?
