Everyone in the comments bad mouthing this man, are just a bunch of internet thugs with no boxing experience and are not students of the game. If you've been tracking boxing then you'll know that Ruiz as been a monster in the division. He put Joshua down 4 times in the first fight, simply out-boxing him. He allowed the fame to go to his head (partying, skipping fight camp to "train" himself), came out way over weight, and had no game plan. Comparing him to Tyson isn't accurate, not because he isn't an amazing heavyweight, but just purely because they don't fight the same. Ruiz is much more patient than Tyson and is a true sit-down counter puncher, that waits to chose his shots off the opponents mistakes. Mike Tyson was much more aggressive and utilized a lot more shifting to create angles. In terms of power, Ruiz is definitely in the realm of Tyson, especially when it comes to hook power which you can easily see from searching him on the bag. A focused Andy Ruiz could beat any heavyweight today, can't wait to see him back.
