Social Distance Trainer using microbit

microbit is using two ultrasonic transducers to measure how close you are to another person so that you follow the social distance rules to minimise COVIVID-19 infections.

This is a prototype and at this stage only works on the desktop. It is different to other similar versions but has the added advantage that it monitors both in front and behind a person. It also provides multiple alerts using Grove actuators: vibration motor, Grove RGB LED strip - 20 neopixels divided into front an back alerts and a loud speaker that is louder that the built in speakers on either BitMaker or microbit V2. Results of the distance measurements are also shown on a 2 line LCD display.

Microsoft Makecode together with extensions are used for the sensors and actuators. The extensions include: LCD1603 driver and Grove Blocks for the Grove Ultrasonic sensors.
