I ended up putting a new carburetor on my lawn boy but as soon as I started it up, it proceeded to over rev and won’t stop. Trying to figure out what’s going on now.

I took apart my carb last year because the governor wouldn't stop reving the mower up and down. Finally got to it again this summer. Cleaned the carb like your video, new spark plug and no leaks anywhere. It starts but it still revs up and down. I played with the govener arm a bit but it won't stay idle. In another video it said to put the governor arm and shaft all the way clockwise but then it won't start. Any suggestions?

I took it apart and everything went well. Until I put it back together, now there is fuel leaking out the small hole in the front of the carb. Did I put it back together wrong ?
