People keep emphasizing how Mad Lions just played like utter shite, when in reality it wasn't just Mad Lions playing terrible, it was also Suppermassive executing their game plan close to perfection. In terms of macro they took nearly everything. In terms of micro, they played it by the book (which might turn out to be a disadvantage in later stages of the tournament). I don't get how no one talks about how they played their teamfights, so many great individual plays and yet so coordinated. Props to them and expecting great things of them if they are able to take flexible picks and execute everything perfectly, from draft to the end of the game, like they did with this game.

Honestly even if I'm from EU, it's fun to see wildcard teams pull off really good games, and beat up many favourites so far. It shows that LoL as a e-sports evolve everywhere. Some fresh blood in competitive gaming wouldn't hurt in group stage, and oh boy, does Mad Lions dissapoint x_X.

Its good for european and NA casters/fans to start realizing that being European or North American dont make anyone great . The league of legends scene is changing, and there is no more room for underrating teams due to their region.

Sad for EU fans but MAD are probably out. They are likely to play a BO5 vs LGC, and if they win, another one vs PSG. They have a day off but it probably won't change anything. I'm still gonna cheer for them until the end, I hope we'll get to see them play on a decent level for at least one game
