CGC seems to have a very tough 10 standard, especially for vintage cards.

A one-off error I had at one point (and showed to TCA) was an error WOTC Arcanine promo. The black ink for the Arcanine was misaligned and printed at an angle on the bottom of the card. So there was ultimately a silhouette of another Arcanine below the main art. It sold in an auction on eBay for $165 or so many months ago.

I personally opened 9 jungle packs from a box break from z&g in 2019. I pulled the error butterfree in one and 2 of the normal butterfree from other packs. So I can also speculate that the error must’ve been on a single butterfree on the uncut sheet

Idk about cgc...might be worth it to just wait for psa to reopen one day. Cgc wait times 7 months right now and they rarely give 10s.

CGC does errors and pedigrees on cards. They also do sub grades, and I don’t think there is another grading service they provides all three of those. I have used CGC a lot, and I’ve had great experiences with them although they do grade pretty harsh. Awesome opening and great video!!

I got my CGC error back today too which is a Magnezone EX FA with a Lysandre texture instead of the Magnezone.
