Wheeler and City Commissioner Carmen Rubio joined OPB's "Weekend Edition" host Lillian Karabaic for a skate around the pop-up ice skating rink in downtown Portland.
The rink is part of a larger effort to drive foot traffic to help boost the city center’s economy. “We know that when people come to downtown Portland and they see it, they realize it’s not as bad as people are saying it is. They want to come back,” Wheeler said. Portland Winter
