Have you tried Castile soap (Dr. Bronner's and otherwise)? I've been using it for years in the shower and for cleaning tasks, but I wanted to share the wealth with you guys since I know many of you have asked about it. It's a neutral, gentle soap that is olive oil (or vegetable oil based). It's gentle, safe and leaves surfaces squeaky clean (including your body, if you shower with it). It's got hundreds of uses, and here are a few great cleaning uses to get you started. Let me know in the comments below if you use castile soap, if you love castile soap, and what you use it for!

Castile soap. so many uses !! And because it's so versatile it makes a GREAT travel companion, eliminating the need to pack a bunch of products. Imagine, you are going sailing, camping or on a road trip for the long weekend. Throw one small bottle of plain castile soap in your back pack and you have 10 or more products at the ready. It replaces: shampoo, body wash, disinfectant hand soap, dog shampoo (add lemon oil to kill fleas) lice treatment shampoo and, dish soap. It gets Junior's finger unstuck from the trailer hitch, launders your bathing suits and dish cloths, disinfects your campsite, picnic-table, washes mud and salt water off everyone and everything, including your vehicle. And your husband can use it as a shaving cream to address his 4 day-old beard, before returning to civilisation! All this, in one bottle and chemical-free !

However, here is a word of caution- Though it is biodegradable, still it should not be disposed of in streams or lakes, instead pour it in the ground and cover with soil.

Okay so this may sound crazy but I used castile soap to WASH my leather hand bag. I accidentally spilled my daughter's liquid allergy medicine in it and it hardened and turned the leather white! I was desperate and so I put 1/4 cup castile soap in the washing machine on gentle cycle and put my bag in there... it was ruined either way so I thought what the hell. It worked! My michael kors looks brand new! I just wanted to share with my clean my space family because maybe one day one of y'all will have to do this!

Yes, I use castile (Dr. Bonner) soap.  I love the Rose line for the shower and planning to replace all my household cleaners with the Peppermint line.  Also, the peppermint is great for killing bugs!!!!  I add about a quarter cup to a 16oz bottle and fill the rest with water.  No more chemical bug spray!

We washed one of our wee hens with Castile soap, when she was covered in mud. She washed up a treat, so all the hens got a bath and they are all looking beautiful!! Another use for this great soap!!

I use it to make my laundry soap! Works great! We've been using it for almost two years!
-1/4 cup washing soda
-1/4 cup baking soda into a bowl of warm water until dissolved.
-Add this to 2 gallon container and fill with warm water.
-Add 1/4 cup Castile soap and 10 drops of purify and 10 of lavender. (Essential oils)
-Mix well slowly! Use about 1/2 a cup to a cup each load.
You will have to mix every now and then because it separates due to oils. I just keep a whisk near by. Also, make sure your storage container is glass. Love, love, love Castile soap! Can't wait to try some of these new ways to use it! Thanks for sharing💕👍🏼

I do use Castile soap! I make my own purpose cleaner/ hand soap. I use the Castile soap bar lavender scented and I grate it down add it distilled water, heat on stove, add lavender oil, lemon oil, and some olive oil, glycerine and then I use an cheap emersion blender I bought only to use to make soap and whip it up put into used plastic container, such as a gallon of what distilled vinegar came in Mark it as Lavender-lemon Castile soap. I water it down in a spray bottle use it to clean my counters, stove etc. I use the same thing to kill, Yellowjackets. Spray them coat them and they drown in it. Instead of using of harsh chemicals. It lasts a long time. Pennies! Excellent product Melissa! 😁😊❤️

Thanks for this. I love castile soap and use Dr. Bronner's unscented (baby) soap most of all, although the almond is great, and the peppermint repels bugs and mice (doesn't kill them, they just hate the smell). I use it for hand and shower soap (slightly diluted), and I use the same dilution to clean my bathroom sink and woodwork, toilet seat and tank (although not the bowl), etc. I love the idea in your video of using it to clean my floors and will try that soon!

I really don't like that you said it costs more than buying products. To me it's super cheap and I am able to use a large bottle for months and it has so many uses. And for people who have a Costco membership you can get a 40oz bottle for $10

Will you please create a video series for personal care products such as shampoo and conditioner and styling products. It is hard to avoid toxic chemicals in bath and cosmetic products.

Can you please do a video about the proper way to clean a ceramic stove top? I'm having issues getting the rings around the burners cleaned fully since my husband started cooking! while I can get some of the rings off one burner just refuses to let the ring go, and I am desperately trying to figure out how to get it cleaned without scratching the ceramic or ruining the surface!

Started using it to shower with years ago. Then I tried cleaning my floors with it. Lastly I use it for cleaning the kitchen and bathroom. Amazing stuff!!

I use it in place of shampoo and conditioner. It doesn't strip my hair of its natural oils and it leaves my hair and body very soft. Easy peasy.

We use Dr. Bronners for just about everything. We love it (obviously lol). We started out using it with our first born. We heard it was great for making a diaper wipe solution, and baby soap. So I still use it for that with our youngest. We all use it for body wash. We also use it for hand soap, cleaning etc. I actually like Dr. Bronners sal suds best for cleaning though. New subscriber! XO ❤️

After watching this video and reading the comments I am ready to try this a soap now. It sounds like an all in one product (use one product from head to toe including your teeth and it's an all purpose cleaner ).
