Data is accelerating -- in collection and transmission. It’s forecasted that there will be 175 zettabytes of data by 2025. It’s no longer practical to pipe data from sensors and devices to the cloud, and have it be processed there. The test for adequate data processing in the cloud is in a space application -- In the Numem keynote presentation, Jack Guedj, CEO, discusses how the current standard for data processing is inadequate for NASA -- and talks about the MRAM-based DNN accelerator for the high-performance space computing program.
