Excellent.
The collection is getting bigger.
What's great is the fact you discover issues when making the items and always have the capacity to rectify and make the products modular.

Happy to be a patron man. Me and my gf are planning our future house and property these days (still years away) and a greenhouse filled with hydroponicly grown plants is a big part of that. For sure I'll be 3D printing your stuff and using your systems and techniques. Can't wait.

Another great addition! Looking forward to the day where more of these designs will be available on Hydroland :)

a bit of weed mat like the copper stuff auto pots use in the base of the pot would stop the roots blocking the float valve

❤🎉❤ once again, pushing the envelope and raising the bar to a whole new level. Congrats, and keep up the good work, i would try leveling the ground and using 1 float valve and Daisy chaining them from the middle or an independent float unit.

I find thick cotton shoelaces also work as a wick

Awesome! Started using mine just yesterday, really looking forward to how they perform :)

Love to see (or adapt myself) a version to use fabric pots....As I mentioned on your Facebook group, I've found filling the bottom 50mm of a Hooch MultiBucket with Jumbo Perlite (including the netcup) and then placing a fabric pot on top of the Perlite allows for wicking into the fabric pot....my aim is to eliminate (or at least minimise) root colonisation of the channel/res/float valve etc... Make sense? Probably not.

Maybe even using the wick cord in a way similar to the Vivosun grow tent system to wick and sit the fabric pot on the wicking

Worth putting some kind of wall with holes between the float valve and the pot to protect the valve?

9:12 As far as pollination goes @Hoocho, have you thought of designing a second entrance/exit for your hives and backing them onto the greenhouse ?

@Hoocho, at the end, you make a mention about plenty of space for more roots. I have tried out the grow spikes. I have doubts the nutrients are making it up to the upper half of the pot, so the roots are not growing there.

Great stuff! I wonder if you could 3D print a float valve? May still need a washer. Even a hose connector too?

I think if you put a timer on the hose and allow the containers to be drained of water even if its just for an hour, it'll make it so the roots grow more in the pot and not so much outside into the water. looks great and super convenient tho!

Wooow that is epic. I wish I had room for a 3D printer.

I would say you might want to figure out a method of preventing the roots from interfering with the float valve.
