It also doesn't matter how long you've been in the industry, news breaks by the minute and anyone can get up to speed with the latest information by simply Investing some time each day to read the latest articles.

When you do this, you will speak with a much more confident tone in your demos, and in your sales conversations and people will look to you as an authority in the industry.

When prospects work with sales reps that have invested in being an authority in their industry, you reduce the risk concerns of a prospect investing in your solution.

Why? Because any sales rep that puts in that kind of effort to really know their industry, would most likely never represent an inferior product.
