Im from Hawaii and we have a durian tree in the backyard, tangerine, avocado and mountain apple tree.
U need to taste the mountain apple. It is good. Not too sweet just perfect 👌

I'm from Indonesia. In my country there are so many variety of durians. Even there are red durian, thornless durian in Borneo island, very rare durian species.

I live in Germany. Fresh durian is hard to find, but I found it and bought it for my friend who was born and raised in the Philippines. We ate it together and I loved it. But it is very expensive here. 7 bucks per kilo. But canned durian is much easier to find.

I love durian, i think that because its expensive it makes you appreciate it more, , if it were cheep and you could get it all the time, i dont think you would appreciate the durians unique flavors, , as much i dident like it at first when my son got it from an Asian store fresh, but tryed it a few months down the line and now im hooked on it i love it so much, tastes a little bit like vanilla with banana, so delicious and so good for your body, so many vitamins.
