Deep down Serena was sick to her stomach that she lost. Halep literally played her best match ever . She was trying to be very gracious of defeat but she was crying on the inside. Serena is going to get to 25 she just got to stay healthy, motivated, and devote more time to tennis like she used to. Us open here we come #24!!

I’m a Serena fan but I gotta admit she’s choking in the finals. Simona played great but for Serena to lose in less than an hour, on grass, has to be a red flag. Serena is too focused on history that she overthinks and plays extremely nervy when it matters the most. I think playing more will help her deal with these pressure moments but she needs to find a way to focus strictly on her game when she is playing for the biggest titles in the game.

I definitely wanted Serena to win, but the positives include the fact that she is back in shape, form, and this will serve as motivation for her to get more matches under her belt before grand slams. The last time Serena lost to Simona it increased her level and this lost will do the same.

I like Serena . However she did not come up against any decent players until now and she still struggled. Once she meets a player that can move her, she has no chance now. She is nearly 40 y/o . She was a fantastic player and still is but she will only go so far and the US season will be harder as the court is slower

Serena has been very unstable after that loss against Vinci. She collapsed mentally in the big stages of slams, where she used to play her best. She could remain calm and balanced at only two slams after that loss.
