As much as I feel bad for the plantiff....he left his property there for 8 months and didn't help pay for the storage. She shouldn't have sold his property but it seems like she got into a real bad financial situation because she lost the house and needed money so she should at least pay something to him.
As judge judy ask...why did he wait a whole year to sue her?

He’s clear. He can’t PROVE contact prior. Doesn’t mean he didn’t try.. but she lost the house in October.. so did she sell his stuff before or after the suit was filed in September?

If I'm not mistaken, if someone abandons their property in your home after thirty days you can sell it, throw it away, whatever and there is nothing the other party can do from a legal standpoint.

Neither of them seem like the sharpest tool in the shed. Some of the things he left were small and could have easily been transported when he left without renting a truck.
If I was losing my house I would have left his stuff in the house and moved. I’m not paying for a storage unit.

Dude, get over it, I lost everything in my divorce! Got our with my truck and the clothes on my back! Lost $1000s in property, tools, and equipment! It was all worth it to be rid of her....
