I’m glad for the stars in this movie they were able to produce a project that they were passionate about and they felt needed to be told but it’s not something that I or any of my ancestors had anything to deal with since my ancestors came from Ireland and Scotland and we’re so dirt poor they were treated as indentured servants and slaves by landholders in England and came over here for a little piece of freedom in the late 1800s only to be treated in a negative manner for decades by people that were already here in the United States, so no, I won’t feel any guilt for being who I am today but I wish those in this movie project, the best of luck, and hope that in telling the story it helps them move forward in a positive manner

Whoopi "WOKE" Goldberg is in this no thanks

The coverage of this simple scene is so awful and haphazardly edited together. The director didn't know where to put the camera. The angles don't even make any sense. You just needed a master wide shot of the carriage travelling and maybe a two-shot on Whoopi and Mario conversing. This is just jumping between angles because the director had no vision for the scene and didn't know how to shoot the most basic coverage, and the editor is trying to give a slow dialogue scene a sense of energy, so it is constantly cutting because no doubt some executive said: "We need a cut every 10 seconds or audiences will get bored". But all it does is make the filmmaking look utterly amateurish from production to post. There are so many people making films on the lower budget end with these dodgy off-brand companies these days who have zero idea of how to make a movie. Just a total tax write-off conjob from start to finish.
