Should you buy an iPhone 6s in 2024?

This iPhone had held up as one of the best iPhones Apple has ever made. Its performance, build quality, and longterm iOS support has resulted in the 6s becoming one of the most popular iPhones in the world. Should you buy one almost 10 years since its launch?

I think the best thing about this phone is the repairability. I bought one for $40, used it for a year. Replaced the battery. Dropped it a month later. Replaced the display with an oem one (very easy to find on eBay) and used my original home button. It’s like a brand new phone. I also use the headphone jack lol.

I remember the 6 and 6s phones were 50G in my country and now they cost only 5g at best.

The processor speed of the 6s is still impressive. Just the battery life is a concern

I ‘ve got a 6s and a 6 now. The 6s needs a new battery since it doesn’t last long without plugging it in. 6s still in almost perfect condition. Also rose gold.

No because they sent updated software to slow down your battery and the court just settled in the US that people who owned the 6 & 7 versions will be compensated $17.50 only in the US and the case is still ongoing in Canada.

My mom still using it 6s 128GB rose gold with iOS10.1 on it (I bought after iPhone 7 released) and she never updated it.

Bought it in 2017, still capable for my daily driver. Dropped it hundred times, replaced lcd once. 6s is enough for me.

I use the iphone 6s plus, and i do have ios 15 but i use the ios 9 wallpapers (it looks weird with new wallpapers) and its good for just texting so it suits my standards

I was owned Iphone 6s with IOS 13. I still have it but I don't use it after bought Iphone 11 in autumn 2021.
Only minus with this phone and why I need bought new phone in autumn 2021 was because battery is very bad and lasted only an hour on a full charge if you don't turn it to a airplane mode. If you do it you can use it 6 hours and another minus with this phone was charging port not work. I can go to a phone repair shop but I think it would be pointless and waste of money because it's a old phone. Better was bought a new phone what I did.

I was used Iphone 6s 2 years and some months.
I was bought it discount from an electronics store in June 2019 and use it last time in like August or September 2021. When I bought my Iphone 11 same time I am in a hurry, because my iPhone 6s with a bad battery was running out of battery and I needed a new phone quickly or there would be no phone and yes I was coming to anyway go to a market bought new Iphone but I need hurry and my Iphone 6s bad battery and broken charging port is why I do it. When I have my bought Iphone 11 in my hands I star use it instantly and turn off my Iphone 6s and never opened it again because I can't. Battery is low and charging port not work.

This is my thoughts about my old Iphone 6s and why I bought new Iphone instead of it and more what I want to tell.

93% was the percentage...the amount of battery left on the phone currently. They didn't have battery health on iOS 13.
