In our Parish, in the Philippines, we have during the Lenten season and advent season what we call, KUMPISALANG PAROKYA, which means confession in the Parish. It's a practice in all parishes. Priests from other parishes within the Diocese support this.
We Legionaries and volunteer Catechists, invite our Parishioners for their confession. The actual schedule is also announced in every Mass and shared in the Facebook page of our Parish.
The schedule for this advent is on Saturday, after the vigil Mass for the 3rd Sunday of advent.

One of the greatest joys in life that I’ve had was leading (by God’s grace) someone to confession who did not confess many years.

I started monthly confession about 5+ years ago. That's when I started faithfully participating in Sacred Heart First Friday's and Our Lady of Fatima First Saturdays. Part of those devotions are you go to Confession. It is truly a gift and had I been doing that in my younger years while raising my family I have NO DOUBT life would have been much better for myself, my marriage, my family, and all of those in my life. 😔
I'm so grateful for this gift. I'm also grateful that you, Ken listened to God to be a public speaker for the Church. Now you have your lovely wife at your side blessing all of us who found you. 🙌💕🙏🤲🙏💝

Thank you for this wonderful idea! This should occur to every Catholic, yet I never thought about inviting someone to Penance.

This video brought tears to my eyes. I just started going to confession monthly few years ago. I guess I can call myself a late bloomer. I am already 61 years old and I just learned so many things about our catholic faith when covid hits. there is really good things come out of bad things and God knows it and He is in control. Since covid I have been learning so much things about our faith and living 8n His Divine Will really makes sense. I have been “promoting” confession to my clients and praise God they now go regularly. There is real power in the sacraments. Fiat!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️your videos.

The holy Sacrament of Confession at least once a month - good! I usually regularly go to Confession more often! About your preparing your children for their first Sacrament Confession, and therefore also for their First Holy Communion - that's good, but I have nothing to share with you about that since I am still God - lessly childless ... therefore, I cannot give of what I do not have. My fiancee is still in Kiev, Ukraine in grave danger time and again. Keep up the good Catholic Orthodox videos, Ken and Janelle!

I’m barely responding to this pot cast, well the Lord knows, anyway this past Sunday I did a good confession. O you guys I just felt such joy after confession having my soul cleansed, after church I meet with a friend that I haven’t seen for a while. 🎉 We enjoyed our conversation about the Lord, it was a happy moment! It was just like the wonderful feeling I had after confession, which I still have. Love how the Lord uses you both! Thank you!🙏🏼❤️🕊✝️
