So interesting to go back five years to see what your home and gardens looked like shortly after you moved there. 😊

I felt cold just watching you walk through all that snow. I love your new garden ideas and hope to see the garden in the Spring video.

That lady statue is called "Hebe" and she's the goddess of Youth. I have the same one! She's about five feet tall. Sometimes I put a candle in her cup or lately, birdseed. I am dying to get out in the garden today, I've deferred too much of my garden clean-up. I love the idea of overplanting Guara!!! Going to try that in a sunny, from bed!

hey, you should doodle up a map of your garden, mostly just the paths, and keep it on the corner of the screen, and when you reach a new area of the garden simply have a red dot appear there!! It would be much better to understand the layout of your garden that way, its so big I always get lost in your videos :0

How did you get so lucky and find the perfect house and land. Just what a gardener like you would live in. Hope all the beautiful landscape survives. Glad I found you, have watched so many videos these last two days! Thanks for doing them for all of us. wj

I love that you take care of the birds during your winter time🙌🏻

Miss Laura, you don't want the chickens too far away from the house/barn area... It makes it that much more work to feed them and to get the coop cleaned out, as well as to get the eggs every day. Don't forget about that, as well as the fact that it is a pleasing sight to see every day, knowing you're getting your eggs fresh. People love to know that, and sit about watching the birds. I know lots of folks who raise their own birds who enjoy the birds right front & center. Justin Rhodes on YouTube is someone you should check out in regards to his chickens and how he raises them. =)

Love seeing the house/yard areas Laura, you've got a lovely place.
🌾Merry meet 🌿

Watching this video made me excited for my own garden. However, since I'm in East Texas and it's going to be 70 today I can go ahead and get to work. Love your videos...keep'em coming. Oh! I am most excited about your future vegetable garden. That's what I'm most into...and chickens. You will be surprised how long you just stand there and watch them peck and scratch around. So relaxing and mindless...so I would put them close. Have a great day and stay warm!

I agree that you should have some of that snow burden removed or set in another part of your property where you want extra water...liked!

Beautiful home and landscape! Don't feel bad about removing trees. I took out 3 massive white oaks off my property. They were all over 150 years old, and easily over 100 feet me about $7, 000 to get them off my property. I replaced them with Chinese plum trees, fig trees & nectarine I love trees, but the white oaks were throwing way to much shade in my a huge difference once they were
