Attended Divine Liturgy for the first time a month ago or so. I have been raised protestant my whole life and we have raised our children that way also. We honestly did not know any better. That being said, glory to God for opening us up to his true church! My soul has been longing for this without me knowing exactly what was missing.

Last week I attended my first Sunday in Orthodox church. This week my heart is changing. All the anger and bitterness I have been carrying around has lifted. I have been "in confession" all week as my foolish sinfullness has appeared before me and I have wept with gratitude because it has enabled me to forgive others. Now my heart and mind are at peace.
Thankyou for this generous podcast which will help me on my journey towards becoming Orthodox.

"If you have a television, and that's the center of your family, and you wanna be an Orthodox Christian, take that, throw it out into the garbage, and replace it with your icon corner." - Fr. Peter Heers, 2022.

I read that Father Seraphim Rose mentioned “lord Jesus Christ, spare me from shameful passions” as another common prayer

My local Orthodox Priest gave me an Orthodox Study Bible. Without being Catechized or baptized into Orthodoxy (from Protestantism), I can say that the Lord is changing my heart - and my life - through prayer. Seek and you shall find, indeed.

Thank you father for this wonderful introduction to the Ancient Faith and it's practices!

Thank you, Father Peter! Today, I experienced my first Divine Liturgy, and it moved me to tears of joy. My wife, who remains devoted to her Protestant faith, has been incredibly supportive of my journey towards conversion. It's a process, but I am blessed to have found a wonderful spiritual father in my area to guide me. Each day, I feel my heart growing and turning away from sin and misguided theology. I pray that my wife will also come to see the truth in her own time.

I am a catechumen and this was a great video to get some new approaches to be an orthodox Christian! This teaching strengthened my orthodox mind. These were important things to learn!

Catholic convert to the Roman Catholic church, went from the NO, to the Traditional Latin Mass, flash forward after years of feeling pulled to the Orthodox church and much research, I took the leap and hopefully some time this year, I'll be baptized and confirmed.

I've been attending a few Orthodox services. Coming from a Baptist background, this all seems foreign and yet correct. It has been a very interesting few months for me. Thankyou for this well done presentation.

Thank you so much for this. I've been watching in small portions. I am not Orthodox, but I also do not think I can attend protestant services any longer. I am being drawn in. So much I don't understand, but it feels like I'm coming home. My husband is unsure, but willing to test the waters with me. He has a lot more to unravel from being raised protestant and attaching himself to certain reformers and beliefs. Pray for us, please!

I have been an enquirer for a few years now. This past year I have been attending far more and over the past holy week I've been attending almost every day. Never have I felt closer to God.

Soon I will begin my catachesis. Let me tell you all that the demonic attacks I have experienced recently are no joke. Please pray for me. Glory to God!
