Double e-wrap, latch tool or crochet cast on - LK150 machine knitting basics

This is the second video of the cast-on techniques for beginner machine knitters, including the double e-wrap cast-on and latch tool cast-on (or the crochet cast-on). The latch tool and crochet cast-on are basically the same except done with different tools. They create a row of chain stitches similar to crochet.

I use an LK150 knitting machine in the tutorial, but the same technique can be used for most knitting machines.

how many stiches per inch you get on this machine? Is there away to get more stitches per inch on it then what it produces in general?
