If Kourov had trapped Rambo's arms when lifting him in that bear hug, there's not much Rambo could have done about that. I wonder if Kourov would have succeeded in breaking his spine, since his first three efforts caused pain but did no damage, and Kourov would only tire further from his sudden power squeezes ("Hmmf!"). I love how hateful he looks at his opponent. It was clear that he was intent on breaking him.

I always thought they got a really tough Polish or Czech bodybuilder guy to stand in as Kourov since they sort of did that with Yushin in Rambo II (although Vojo Goric was from one of the then Former Yugoslavian States) but it turned out to be Randy Raney who is American and had acted with Stallone before.
