Would love if you could describe the food with more adjectives 🙏🏼 it’s nice to hear the food is “good” or “very good”, but aside from that, would be nice to hear adjectives such as sweet, salty, tangy, smooth, creamy, tart, bitter, crunchy, etc etc etc

The Keg Steakhouse at Granville Island was a big winner for me!!! I’ve never drank a better sweet tea and I’ve lived in the Southeastern U.S. all my life!!!

Well, you picked places that reflect BC (which stands for Bring Cash), so out of reach for normal folk....especially if you are out of town and have to pay to stay.

We ate lunch at Kaisereck Deli in the Granville Island Market. They had the best currywurst! Also loved Beaucoup bakery in Kitsilano for breakfast. For dinner I’d recommend Zubu Ramen on Hornby.

I'd add Sing Sing on Main St to that list as well as Bao Bei on Keefer St for awesome bars. Also for great Lebanese food there's Nuba (multiple locations) or Jam Jar on Commercial Drive. Lunch Lady also on Commercial Drive is worth a visit if you like upscale Vietnamese food and cocktails. I live in Vancouver and personally think Granville Island is overpriced and overrated. There are so many more things to see and do here in Vancouver and the surrounding area. Whale watching, boating, trails, beaches, cycling, camping, hunting, fishing, amazing parks, the PNE and Playland, fine dinning, museums, and the Celebration of Light to name but a few!

12:44 that now reminds me about a McDonald's in NYC that I had been to about 25 years ago near Wall Street. it also featured someone playing piano right above the entrance area and they had real cutlery as well as cloth napkins. unsure whether that's still a thing 😅
