This morning, we will look at one of the most famous, most quoted poems in all of the book of Ecclesiastes. Solomon is going to use a poetic device known as merism, which is a device used to represent a comprehensive whole. In this poem, Solomon uses 14 pairs of opposites to represent the “whole” of experiences of life under the sun. Solomon does this to argue that even when the individual scenes of our lives do not make sense, God still has a plan according to His timing, AND that God still designs enjoyment, meaning, and purpose for us in this life.

A very close friend of mine. Is going through a medical crisis. She is probably the strongest person I know in faith. Everything turned upside but yet she continues to read the gospel and be there for me. Makes me feel weak for my challenge that are nothing compared to her. Her name is Mackenzie. If you have time please pray for her. She actually got me to read this. Since I have ADD. I had to look up this video. Keep living brothers and sisters. ❤❤❤
