A Partial History of the First Peoples of Canada

This video gives an overview of the beliefs and societies of the First Peoples of Canada, focusing primarily on the Coast Salish. It was created with extensive research (Works Cited included at the end) and input from one of the Aboriginal Support Workers from the Surrey School District. Its purpose is to give my grade 8 Humanities students a basic understanding of the thriving societies in which the First Nations and Inuit lived before the coming of the European colonizers.
