was there. was given an introduction along the lines of "the closest there has ever been to a female Ramone"" and she goes "yeah, Joanie Ramone". As you can hear/see, it was awesome. I was frenetically pogoing, and my wife was a little annoyed at HOW excited I was, lol.

I was there that night (this was in NYC, most of the fil was in LA). JJ also did I think it was Cretin Hop and Sheena. Then Andrew WK, the guy from Queens of the Stone Age, and Alan Vega from Suicide did some tunes w/ CJ and Daniel. Sonic Youth and Blondie played. Much awesomeness. The Strokes were there, but while I appreciated them paying their respects, I didn't dig their set (plus they pulled in too many non Ramones fans in the crowd). But Joan was awesome. I was pogoing hard during her set!

Yeah :D 'Joan Ramone' rocks, I'd love to hear her release a album with them like how 'Queen' recorded albums after Freddies death. I still want to hear her sing the Trashmen's song "Surfin' Bird", 'Everybody knows that the Bird is the Word', and maybe "My Generation" by the Who 'Talkin about my Generation'.
