How to make Paraffin Wax Emulsions

In this video we demonstrate how a High Speed, High Shear Silverson mixer can be used to make Paraffin Wax Emulsions.
Mixing is usually carried out at temperature, so both phases are liquid when the emulsion is formed, but once cooled the wax particles solidify – so technically, they are fine suspensions of wax particles in water rather than emulsions.
