ABADOX: THE DEADLY INNER WAR - RETRO REVIEW

Hey everyone for this Reto Review I take on one of my favorite shooters from the NES era in Abadox the Deadly Inner War brought to us by Natsume, Milton Bradley, and ITL. This shooter has both vertical and horizontal segments featuring some grotesque enemies and plenty of action along the games six levels. However it is similar to other shooters including the classic Konami shooter Lifeforce and has a bit of a slowdown issue. However is Abadox worth playing today?

My reviews are 100% unbiased and I will never do one unless I am confident enough to do so. I use a scale of 1 - 10 with 5 being a average game. Many professional reviewers use 7 as a average game which I find is more of a trick to convince you the consumer that a game is better then it really is.

Fun fact; this wasn't the only shooter released by Milton Bradley, they also released Zaxxon. Whether they actually made Zaxxon or not is unclear to me, but they released in in north america.

Edit: Also bring your A game or you will die alot in this game. It's extremely tough. Excellent video man

I am a sucker for shoot 'em up games that also fell arcade like. This is a challenging game for sure, but R-Type...that one is ultra challenging.

This was good. I like it better than play-it-thoughs since it is less formal and more your thoughts about the game as you play through it rather than instructions only

Fun fact about MB, they manufactured the vectrex from 1983-1984 after they bought general consumer electronics. Guess they did alot of gaming related stuff.

I loved this game when I was younger and I still have it among my collection.The barriers are also adjustable, they can me moved further away from the body and extremely close.
