"O luminary of Orthodoxy, support and teacher of the Church, ideal of monks and invincible champion of theologians, O wonderworker Gregory, boast of Thessalonika and herald of grace, always intercede for all of us that our souls may be saved."

I am perplexed by the Orthodox Church - I would love to interview someone who could explain it from the ground up on my channel. (If you prefer I not comment like this I understand if it is removed)

….yes hesychasm definitely wasn’t a development of doctrine and there’s definitely no problems with the uncreated light idea

Everything about Orthodoxy makes sense to me except the 7th Ecumenical Council stuff around icons. I don't understand it--can't wrap my brain around the anathemas

If it doesn't violate ADS there could be something to it. ADS is dogmatic if I'm not mistaken.

That we share "energies proper to the essence" sounds more like a bold restatement of Paul's description of Christ's promise, to know as we are known. Sounds dangerously close to denying the great mystery there.

Incarnation achieved redemption,
Salvation and reconciliation!

What you say is blasphemy! 😢

Scriptures don't teach. The Church does.

Since Jesus is God incarnate, we can know God. The Bible gives us all the information about Jesus that we need, and when you give yourself to Jesus, you develop a personal relationship with Him. Thus, you have a personal relationship with God.

How do you not introduce division in God, if you say "I can know this part, but not the other"?

So what you're saying is that it's possible to become God

There's obviously no way a human can become like God. We were born with original sin. That's why I believe mother Mary is the only person that God created. Divinely besides himself in her womb. He had to create a divine creature to give birth to one. And at the end of their mortal lives, they were both assumed Jesus at the right hand of the father and Mary at the left. The New Testament is simply a holy family Trinity. I believe in the New Testament. The Holy Spirit works through Jesus. The son and Mary, the mother.
