In this video, I will demonstrate my process of putting together the inspiration and references for motion design and animation projects. This is the first episode of a two-part tutorial. The next part is me animating the project.

I'm uploading new motion design & animation tutorials every Thursday! (Sometimes Monday too)

►Please tag me on Instagram @ben_marriott_ if you've used any of the techniques from this video so I can see what awesome things you create

It makes me sick to my stomach on how undeserving we are for this kind of content from Ben. It is always made with high skill, very kind demeanor, informative, easy to follow, intense passion and the list goes on. Truly inspiring.

Definitely the most important (and could be boring) step (but really time-saving) in all creative fields

This video is one of the most easiest for a student to intuit, and I think that's why it's by far one of the most helpful. Don't get me wrong, I love the videos on specific AE techniques, but I've gathered so much from this video by being able to watch your workflow. Thanks Ben, please make more of these!

So good, the texture on the bat gives me a clay stop motion vibe. Love it
