Trak Racer is another fantastic option especially if you’re in North America. I picked up a TR80 lite and used the shifter mount to create an infinitely adjustable pedal deck for 450ish USD

Ref. pedals - surely you can just drill new holes in the pedal plate so that they fit? rather than buying a whole new rig? Other than that - nice review Ollie.

Have had GT1-Evo for almost 3 years. I would highly recommend. I customized it a bit to mount a SC2 Pro. Sprint pedals mount easily right to plate. Super sturdy.

The Asetek Pedals are new to the market. SimLab can’t change its manufacturing everytime someone releases a new product. The thing is. Drilling a couple of holes isn’t a big deal and kinda standard and even expected when using high end gear. Here’s what I’d do. I’d order a couple pieces of aluminum profile from SimLab already cut to the size I need. Bolt them to the pedal plate then bolt the pedals to the profile. It would be more like the P1X.

I bought a GT1 EVO back in 2019. Then upgraded to a P1X in late 2020. I had zero experience with aluminum profile coming from a cheap GTOmega Pro nor am I a DIY kinda person. I’ve done some pretty cool stuff with both my chassis in the diy realm. Theres almost always multiple ways to solve a problem when it comes to mounting stuff to a aluminum profile chassis.

Had my gt1 evo about 3 years now, only grief was no pre drilled holes for v3's
Got the drill out and boom.
Also purchased a real race seat for it, it's great for long stints 😉
Nice and honest review bud.

Hi Ollie, looks good and not a bad price either. If it is now your rig and you do not have to give it back then drill holes in the pedal plate to match the Aseteks, you should only neeed to drill 2 front holes once the back is in position>
If you are up to it convert th epedal plate to use aluminium profiles across the pedal deck.

Very worth considering if outside of EU. Simlab is literally the only store that does international shipping on cockpits. Buying a cockpit locally would've been twice as expensive. Shipping from the NL all the way to Mexico was way WAY cheaper than any 8020 rig I could find here.

I cant understand how could anyone say that just because their new pedal "does not fit" they gonna have to buy a whole new rig... just drill in the holes you need, srsly... other than that, nice review

so could u not drill the plate yourself? to fit the other pedals?

Just drill some holes in the pedal plate? I'm already used to that with my Moza gear.

Is there a list of seats other then what sim labs sell that will fit on this rig? Also I would like the recliner since I intend to drive multiple type of cars not just gt cars

Is the rig compatible with the csl elite v2 pedals? and does the rig come with bolts for mounting the base and the pedals?

can you mount a shifter and handbrake or you need to buy a seperate extension so you can add them on.

From the SimLab website:

"Due to Brexit, the prices you're paying are with 0% VAT. Please expect to pay import duties upon the delivery."

So did you not have to pay an extra 20% VAT on the stated price upon delivery? 🤔

I've been trying to decide between the Simlabs gt1 Evo and the Advanced sim racing ASR3. The biggest thing for me is compatibility since I'll be upgrading to moza gear soon

ASR Advanced Sim Racing products are by for the most rigid rigs being made in North America available almost world wide.
