I have recently watched a bunch of Amber Heard's movie promo interviews circa 2010 to 2014. In *every single one* of these interviews, she has these pretentious prepared lines that she thinks make her sound smart because she's using big words. But she also struggles to remember her canned words, making it obvious that they are indeed canned. It comes off as extremely disingenuous. Why couldn't she just be herself and answer each question with whatever answer that comes off the top of her head? Why was she afraid of being extemporaneous?

I love watching these old interviews of Amber and seeing that man's rabid fans trip over themselves in the comment section inventing all sorts of insane conspiracies and narratives to come to terms with one simple fact: that contrary to the lies that man spread about her, Amber is intelligent, eloquent, graceful, and super-glamorous. These fans are trying to make sense of these lies against the reality to the contrary by making up all sorts of unsupported and out-of-this-world "theories." Sadly for them, Amber is as brilliant as she is in this video and it's just one of the many things I've grown to love about her.

That said, having watched Paranoia, I can attest to all that Amber says about it in this interview. And while the movie is mostly male-centered, I love that Amber does her best to give Emma Jennings as much power as she could give her within the scope of how she's written. Ironically and tragically, last year Amber was subjected by that wifebeater Depp to one of the most egregious and abusive violations of privacy most people have ever witnessed in their lives Depp. Not even a movie like Paranoia could fully capture the extent of the horrors of what this violation must have caused her. I have always stood with Amber as a fellow human being, a phenomenal woman, an activist and feminist hero, a talented actor, and victim-survivor. And I always will!

These were carefully thought out answers, resulting in an unrelaxed, trying too hard outcome. This is a young woman wanting not to be viewed as uninformed or ditzy. Likely very worried about how she is perceived by the public. Humiliation that she has endured by having been a victim of constant ridicule by sycophants of a contemptuous ex has likely gotten her over worrying what others think. I hope so. People are very cruel. The irony that she did this movie and interview talking about the dark side of technology and having no privacy was only the beginning. The misinformation and twisting of truths and the cyber bullying have been raging out of control.
