I have very little problem collecting. Why? Because if you don't pay me on on time for the first job then i don't come back for the second.
Non payment or very late payment is the exact same as robbery and I don't work for criminals.
Good luck finding someone else that does what I do, the way I do it. You'll need it.

This is a plague to contractors.. Specially and mainly perpetrated by other contractors robbing people..

Working mostly for property managers I have been extremely lucky to never have this issue but I refuse to enter residential work since this is rampent with people refusing to pay contractors once work is done.

3rd option: You have medical debt you refuse to pay, because they charged you for something that the insurance company wouldn't cover and none of the doctors will call you back to correct after years of trying, so you give up and it goes into collections.

I explained the exact same thing with my former business partner, and he just blew me off. Few years later, I started my own business and practice what I preached. I became way more successful than he did.

Why do people not do "Cash Businesses?" I mean, "Accounts Receivable" is not just Silly, it's poor Cashflow Management, it seems to me!

Why can't you offer a product that people need instead of one that does damage to there lives. So yeah we are not paying for that.
