Ask a Poker Pro: No Limit Hold ‘em or Pot Limit Omaha? #shorts #poker

As a poker pro and poker coach I've had people ask if they should try Pot Limit Omaha or continue studying No Limit Hold ‘em poker strategy. My answer might surprise you!
When considering edges and win-rate, Pot Limit Omaha can appear to be the ideal choice when compared to No Limit Hold’em.
If you can find a good PLO game you are looking at a high potential as a strong Omaha player.
The only problem with that is actually finding a good PLO game, Pot Limit Omaha is nowhere near as popular as No Limit Hold ‘em so you’re often stuck with whatever PLO action is available.
Along with being more popular than Pot Limit Omaha (PLO), No Limit Hold’em (NLHE) cash game poker strategy also leaves you able to play over types of No Limit game types like No Limit Hold ‘em tournaments or NLHE Sit and Goes.
There aren’t that many Pot Limit Omaha poker tournaments running so, most of the year, you’re stuck being a PLO cash game player.
If you’re building huge chip stacks already but still looking for how to improve at Pot Limit Omaha, No Limit Hold ‘em, or big bet poker in general, Phil Galfond is here to teach you how to think like a professional poker player.
