Fantastic videos James. I’m in the process of building a store with a friend and I had a question that I hoped you could help answer. Would it be better from an SEO and ads perspective to have a product for each colour variant? We want to sell watch straps, we will only start with 14 products but each product has around 4 colours and several sizes. So I am wondering what you think would be a better strategy to start out with? One product and several variants in it, or one product per colour and size variants in each colour? Maybe I’m I’ve thinking it but when I go to Google I see one brand with multiple listings when they have multiple products for each colour and the others brands with one colour and multiple variants get less listings which makes me think a colour per listing could lead to more traffic and more sales.

Hi James, thanks for the video. I was using Shine On for a while, but I found the quality just wasn't good. I tried to raise it with them but couldn't get anywhere. I'd love to sell their stuff as it's easy to sell, but I just feel too guilty selling customers crap. For example, the backing cards are messy around the edges. A dragonfly necklace broke within a week. A printed personalised pendant looked super grainy and cheap, however the necklace was really really nice and good quality. I got it reprinted but the print was still crap. It wasn't my file because it was high resolution and I use that file for bigger items. Have you had any quality problems with Shine On? I tried to ask other users on their FB page but they just don't allow the posts, so there's nowhere to talk about it!
