One of the best films i've seen. It really changes your perspective about the WW2, great to see it from an other point of view, I highly recommend it.

Someone had to tell the story, and I am glad they made this film.  To me, it made me feel sad and disturbed, but it also did show little bit of hope in humanity.  This film is not really about WW2 or Nazis.  It's more about human beings who were trapped in the peculiar situation.

I'm glad that this movie exists. Hollywood probably hates this movie due to their biased one-sided take on WW2 history. But it is extremely important to make sure we teach history from every perspective, from all the sides, not only from the winners perspective...

Stumbled across this movie because one of the main actors is from my favourite tv show dark. Great actor. But this movie broke my heart. I cried so hard. I know it’s a movie but some of the scenes you just want to hold the boys and tell them it’ll be okay and they’ll go home soon. I am from India, I like German war movies, especially Downfall, lives of others & Stalingrad and this movie made me to cry a and now my thought is what these young guys did to get this much pain at that age !!!! Really very sad, that twins and the way ernst decided to die... one of the heart touching movie.. Great

It's really a good movie! My heart goes up and down with the movie scenes. In real history, so many unknown people died in war, and even died from cleaning up the mess brought by war. Wherever they were from, whatever their stance about the war was, they were both innocent before war coz none of them wanted it.

Absolutely excellent movie! I watched that during the flight and i pretended i am sick because i had very often wet eyes :-) one of the best movie i have ever seen! Roland Møller and Louis Hofmann ! Music super!

I swear Mikkel Folsgaard is in every single Danish film I've come across. Don't get me wrong, he's a fantastic actor and I love his performance in Ehrengard, but I could do with some new faces.
I never heard of this film till now, and my this is perfect for practicing both my Danish and German at the same time. The story also looks very interesting, not the typical war film.
