Mestizos come in four variations:
1. Indo-Mestizos (2/3 or 3/4 Amerindian & 1/3 or 1/4 Caucasian).

2. Balanced Mestizos (around half Caucasian & half Amerindian).

3. Harnizos (2/3 Caucasian & 1/3 Amerindian)

4. Castizos (3/4 Caucasian & 1/4 Amerindian)

soy cubano y vivo en Uruguay y hice intercambio en ciudades argentinas como Rosario, Santa Fe, Posadas, Bariloche y Mendoza y quiero decir que Argentina es más blanco que estados unidos y estados unidos tiene más afro americanos y mestizos hispanos que Argentina. También pasé mis vacaciones en nueva york y la mayoria de la gente que ves en NYC son negros, mulatos y mestizos pero en Rosario son mas blancos descendientes italianos y Rosario no es tan turistico. hasta San Miguel de Tucumán, la ciudad al noroeste es mas blanco que "los angeles. lo dice un cubano y tambien en toda Argentina menos en la mayoría de las zonas del noroeste los blancos predominan!

Italianos son mayoria en el sur !! italianos mayoria al centro (donde dos tercios de la población vive). Españoles en Tucumán y los alemanes en la provincia de las pampas y Santa Cruz. En Buenos Aires aunque no es tan blanco como anteriormente, sigue teniendo una super mayoría blanca y más o menos el 45 por ciento de la población vive en la provincia de Buenos Aires y en la área metropoliatana de Buenos Aires. De hecho casi todos los marrones y mestizos que ves en Buenos Aires son bolivianos, peruanos, paraguayos y sus descendientes, tal como en todo el centro.

Y para probar que Argentina es un país mayormente blanco, no mestizo, según el estudio de Genera del 2023 basado en muchos miles de pruebas de ADN el promedio argentino es solo un 12.5 por ciento indígena y un 85 por ciento caucásico. Aquí dejo el canal de un estadounidense que vive en Sudamérica y adoptó la ciudadanía argentina y se dedica de grabar las calles de Sudamérica, principalmente Argentina incluso la región central donde la gran mayoría de la población es eurodescendiente. Stop super categorizing everything. You can't tell someone's fraction or percentage DNA ancestry based on appearance alone. Some people with 60% indigenous blood look white and some people with 60% european blood look indigenous so this is an inaccurate video. My mom and her sister have the same ancestry, both being mestizas, but have very different hair color and my aunt has green eyes while my mom has brown eyes.

Huh, I am 38 and only just found out the there was a spectrum of Meztizos. Based off of this video i would guess that i am Harnizo( i never heard of that word)

Impressive to know that there are some castizos
who are born with light eyes, especially eyes
greenish grays, or bluish grays.

I'm not sure about this classification. Maybe it's because most of the Indo-Mestizos I've seen are of Peruvian origin, but some of the ones in this video don't look that Native to me. Also, some of the balanced Mestizos could pass for Spanish, especially the ones in Andalusia or Extremadura which is from where many of the colonisers, not to say most, were originally from.

Yeah, I'm pretty much 50/50. My dad was an indo-mestizo and my mom was a harniza. He had a touch of African ancestry, but she had none. I honestly like most of my physical features.

Truth be told The average Mestizo are lighter skinned then the usual Indio as well as often hairier and a litle taller too with mixed features Mestizos usually rule over the pure blooded or close to pure blooded Indios and have been ruling over them for many centuries and many Mestizos want to either marry other Mestizos or want to marry Penninsulars Or Criollos but not usually Cholos And Indios yeah.

And all these races have a common way of seeing pure blooded Amerindians as a lower race then them not all but a high magnitude of them do this has been something that has been common througout Latin America as well as The Caribbean since the 1500s and maybe earlier and goes and carries and strays and stays on today yeah.
