I'm getting the 1/16 E-Revo VXL for Christmas this year

Is the wheelie bar worth it for the e-revo vxl?? I have one with some upgraded aluminum parts but I usually try and control the throttle. But i usually use it off-road and sometimes in an empty parking lot but does it effect how it runs in the dirt???
