Sky News host Caleb Bond discusses the “absolute lefty” Pope Francis’ latest comments on religion and belonging.

“I am not a Catholic myself but by God you can tell the bloke is an absolute lefty,” Mr Bond said.

“He has now come out with another great bit of Catholic wisdom which is that it does not matter what religion you belong to, we are all ultimately moving towards the same God.”

No mister Pope, not all religions are the same.

These anchors got more guts than any preacher for proclaiming the gospel on a mainstream news network. God bless them both.

Christ said He alone is the way, the Truth and the Life. No one goes to the Father except through Him. 🙏

I am Catholic and I have been upset by Francis for a while. The only reason I don't leave the church is that the sacraments come from Jesus, not the pope

No, Catholics do not believe whatever er comes out of the Pope's mouth is infallible. The term " Ex cathedra" literally "from the chair" means he has to be speaking from the Chair of Peter, with the universal backing of the bishops and faithful. Moreover, he is only infallible when speaking of faith and morals in the light of tradition. Yes, the Catholic Church desperately needs a new Shepherd.

As I live and breathe 🤣 I never thought I'd live to see a day when a main stream media outlet proclaims the gospel more accurately and factually than the Pope

His latest “choose between the lesser of two evils” about our election is beyond terrible as a Christian. Saying sending a bunch of illegals back to their country is the same or worse than killing 650, 000+ children a year is enough to get him removed

So the pope has joined Welby in leaving God behind. God made himself clear. Christ made himself clear. The pope is wrong.

Catholic church has desecrated the name of Christ innumerable times and the latest comment is the highest form of blasphemy. Vigano was expelled for pointing out the heresy.

I thought Pope Frances would be a breath of fresh air. How disappointing that he has turned WOKE.

While I agree wholeheartedly with your sentiment, your idea of papal infallibility is incorrect. The popes statements were not made ex cathedra, therefore they are not binding on Catholics. Even if they were, We are not obligated to submit to anything, regardless of who says it, that contradicts, the divine deposit of faith.

"Therefore, the true opinion is... the Pope who is manifestly a heretic ceases by himself to be Pope and head, in the same way as he ceases to be a Christian and a member of the body of the Church; and for this reason he can be judged and punished by the Church. This is the opinion of all the ancient Fathers, who teach that manifest heretics immediately lose all jurisdiction.. "

Imagine the chairman of a large auto maker saying "When shopping for a car it doesn't matter which one you buy they all get you from point A to point B.. I don't think he'd have his job for very long!

Infallibility does not mean everything that comes out of his mouth. Thanks be to God Francis has never spoken ex cathedra! However, this is wonderful coverage and thank you for being more Catholic than the pope!
