Years ago, my husband was out with one of his friends on his birthday and a feeling came over me stronger than any I have ever felt. It was the urge to pray this psalm, repeatedly. I prayed this prayer over and over again the urge was so overwhelming I didn’t stop for a long time. I went out after to go and get my husband, when I found got to him I found that the same moment I was praying this psalm he and his friend were being robbed at gun point. His friend was hit over the head but the robber did not touch my husband except to steal the watch I gave him for his birthday. I know the Holy Spirit whispered into my spirit that night to pray this Psalm for my husband and his friend. I know that this prayer summoned a legion of angels to watch over him in that moment. This prayer has power beyond the imagination and God is the beloved most merciful Father who I Love beyond words. He is a protector and the greatest gift to our lives. He is the worker of miracles and the protector of us all. Seek him always and in all things. “Seek ye first the kingdom and his righteousness; and all things shall be added onto you.” Matthew 6:33
