"I'm more casual with where i put my things" is how I'm sugar coating "I'm messy" from now on 😂

My husband has a speech impediment disability but he knows nothing different and is not shy. We met dancing and he is my best friend. You two inspire me.

Liz hit the mail on the head, nobody is ready to have kids. All you can do to be ‘ready’ is be committed to trying as hard as you can at something that you will never do as well as you want. Also, one of the best things you can do is to surround yourself with people who you can count on and who are your village, which is exactly what Shane and Hannah have done.

I am a 43 year old Disabled Veteran. My wife and I have been married for over 20 years. During that 20+ years, we tried just about everything we could afford. We had even been told that there is no reason we couldn’t. 2 years ago exactly our son was born. It was our 3rd and final IVF attempt. In fact it was our final straw. We just couldn’t afford to spend anymore money on what was seemed to be a lost cause. I love my little birthday boy. He’s just like me, loves anything with wheels. You guys will have unforeseen problems pop up, for an example I was using my Cain because I didn’t have access to my manual wheelchair. He was playing on his little push bike(he flys on that thing!!) and he saw his much older cousin rode don’t to his friends…. He took off chasing him down I couldn’t catch him, he was just too fast. Another issue for me is picking him up or holding him, sometimes even bending over… it all hurts and can leave me in bed for a few days after. I’m looking for a lightweight scooter that can drive in grass so I can keep up with him…. Also so I can go on walks with my wife and him. Best of luck and I hope your family dream comes true.

I know exactly how Liz feels! My daughter is 27 and having her first baby (my 1st grandchild) next week. She is type 1 diabetic, only 4’10” and her 3rd trimester has been rough. She is booked in for a c-section and I honestly can’t wait. Obviously I can’t wait to meet my baby Granddaughter, but the last couple of months have been so stressful I will be happy that the pregnancy and it’s complications will be over and done with and I can stop worrying about My baby girl 🩷
Good luck Hannah, I really do hope all your dreams come true and you & Shane will soon be cradling a baby of your own xx

I thoroughly enjoyed this today! You two are so adorable. I got such a kick out of how you ( Shane) makes Hannah and Liz giggle like a couple of teenagers. I agree with Liz that you two will make awesome parents!💞

Liz has perfect radio voice. Clear, tone and inflections. Should send in a audition.

We gave birth to our IVF twins last November. I wish you the best with every poke and Liz was so right- it’s a really hard thing to do IVF but it’s SO worth it once you’re holding your brand new baby in your arms. You got it!

Liz did a great job. I love the inflection Shane uses when he talks about his muscles, it's cute I always feel like in his head he's hulking out and I think that's probably healthy for him to imagine himself that way. Shane may not have tremendous muscle strength but he's obviously a super strong guy in strengths that really count.

Mom, I understand your feelings about IVF and you "baby" going through this. My daughter is pregnant for the 2nd time via IVF. I have a perfect 2 year old Granddaughter and when told she was going to try again, I felt anxiety about it. Daughter is now 3 months pregnant and very excited but also have some anxiety about it.

My mom was 41 when she had me, which wasn’t very common back in the early 1960’s. My mama was always older than my friend’s mothers, but I think she was always the “coolest” 💜

Hi! Shane & Hannah.... it was very nice seeing Liz for the first time on your podcast. She seems very kind and is a good Mother! Hope she has a great Mother's Day coming up, too. 😊

Awesome show today!! It was nice to see Liz, and so open. She is so right that nobody is ever ready for children. They are individuals, and as such, have slightly different needs. But you two will make awesome parents. It was also amazing to see Shane's arm on his chair, ready to do work! The memories you read were fantastic, and showed how much you were in love with each other. I look forward to the next offering, and, as one who grew up in a literal junkyard, this amusing, love filled conversation warms the heart. Keep up the great ideas, and see you next time.

We love Hannah's mom! She seems like the nicest person. I think we might be around the same age and we could be friends. Your memories are hilarious! Hope your IVF is going well.

I know this is kind of out of context but I have to say this. I suffer from generalized anxiety and your videos always help me when my anxiety is kicking my butt. I've been loving you content for years because you guys are amazing human beings, but the podcasts are especially good at letting me live some daily activities normally that would otherwise be very triggering for my anxiety. Thank you guys. I know this isn't how you intended your content, but just know you're helping people in ways you don't even imagine.❤
