Hi All, got myself an Ecotric 500w fat tyre ebike afew month ago. Sorted the speed out but thought i could get more by pulling the white wires apart but when i do that the motor makes a grinding sound. Does anybody know why this happens.
Thanks.
Andy.

Just put my bike together but whenever i try to ride it, the front wheel keeps unaligning itself to the handlebars by a lot. How do i fix this? I noticed above the wheel there is a screw that was already attached when i got it but its very loose and basically impossible to tighten, could that have something to do with it?

I watched your video to specifically see how you assembled the instrument panel, but you skipped over this. I'm afraid to expand the mount to fit over the handlebars. It does not seem too flexible and seems like it will snap. Can you confirm that this piece will stretch that far...before I force it open and break it. Thanks.

I got mine off Amazon so I didn't get a tool set,
but I did get free return shipping and no restocking fee for paying about $20 more.

I'm not mechanically inclined, so what can I do

They no longer include any nice multi tool set or tire repair kit. Bike is great but lacking in information about tire pressures for different surfaces, how to mount the front reflector, bell, and what the spare wire is used for on the bike. Overall, glad I purchased it but wish they gave a video or better instructions. Then again, I am not a mechanical type so it may be easier for others. Your videos have been great...thanks for doing them for us!

Just got this . Love it so far. Didn't realize how tall the tires were though. Does anyone know if I can downsize the tires on a bike like this?

Have you removed the rear wheel ? I bought some tubes with removable cores to put Stan's No Tubes liquid sealant in. I forgot to look carefully ( should have taken a photo ) how the spacers on the rear wheel go. Inside or outside the frame ? I tried one inside and one outside and the week Duh. They are both inside the frame now, but in 1st gear the chain is very close to the tire. I emailed Ego-Bikes and they said take to a bike Which I won't do. Thanks for the videos. I really like the bike.

a battery and then cord should be should be located at the top of the box so you can plug it in while your working on the bike
