I can belive everything about how psychokinesis would work if it existed, as it is represented in this movie EXCEPT the part where she is stopping maschinegun bullets with her mind. She can sense the bullets with a 6th sense coming from her psychokinesis yes...but a bullet travels with 1200-1500 meters per second, and is only able to sense them and grasp them once they are fired, and first the sense of the bullets needs to be registered in her brain, then the signal of stopping them needs to be sent out, and she needs the movement of her fingers too, to control her power. There is no way that is faster, than how fast the bullets would reach her.

After seeing so many people commenting, wondering about if the movie is based on the video game by the same name, wondering if Remedy Entertainment is behind this etc... I decided I would take control(huehuehue!) and seek out a definite answer for us all...

I reached out to the Executive Producer and Head of the "Control" franchise, Juha Vainio, and asked him if they(Remedy Entertainment) are in any way affiliated with this movie. He said, and I quote:

"No, we're not at all affiliated. Looks like it's quite heavily been inspired by Control."

This looks great, but you showed entirely too much of the film. There was no reason to show more than the first task and you didn’t have to show that she completed it and you most certainly didn’t have to show that she has some type of special powers. Trailers like this is why I rarely ever go watch movies at the theater anymore I may just wait till they come out on video or just stream them. 🙄🙄

This seems like it could almost be a prequel to how they treated the woman and experimented on her prior to the video games FEAR. Except her daughter is actually older.
